1. About these terms

GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you is run by Genki Group Japan (ゲンキ グループ ジャパン), 愛知県 名古屋市　天白区平針　１丁目 1-chōme−1206 Tempaku Ku (contact: [email protected]).

These terms apply to everyone who uses GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you. Together with our Disclaimer and our Privacy policy, they are the agreement between you and GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you. You accept them by ticking the box when you send a request or create an account. Car dealers also accept our Dealer agreement.

2. What GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you does

GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you is an introduction service. You describe the car you are looking for. Car dealers in Japan that we have checked can see your request and write to you. If you like an offer, you deal with that dealer directly.

GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you does not sell cars and is not a party to any sale. We do not inspect cars, take payments for them, ship them or handle their paperwork. The Disclaimer explains this in full.

Sending requests and receiving messages is free for buyers. Dealers pay us to read requests in full and write to buyers.

3. Who can use GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You use GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you for yourself, or for a business you are allowed to act for.

4. Sending a car request

  • Your request must be real: a car you actually want to buy, described as accurately as you can.
  • Your request goes on our public request board for 7 days. The board shows the car, the budget and where you live (your country, or your prefecture and city in Japan). A checked dealer who chooses to answer also sees your first name and your message. Nobody on the board sees your full name, email address or phone number.
  • A dealer who wants to answer writes to you through GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you. We send you the message by email, with the dealer's contact details. You decide whether to reply. You never have to buy anything.
  • Without an account (as a guest), a request cannot be changed and leaves the board after 7 days. With an account, you can change or remove your requests at any time.
  • We may limit how many requests one person has open at the same time.
  • We may refuse, shorten or remove a request that breaks these terms, looks like spam or could put someone at risk.

5. Messages from dealers

A message from a dealer, and anything in it (price, photos, condition, delivery), is the dealer's own and the dealer is responsible for it. Before you pay anything, read section 3 of the Disclaimer: see or have the car checked, get the offer in writing, and pay only into a bank account in the dealer's company name.

GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you never asks you to pay for a car, and never asks you to pay into a personal account. If anyone does, stop and tell us.

6. Your account

  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • An account is for one person. Give us your real name and an email address you read.
  • If you sign in with Google or Facebook, that company confirms your email address to us. Its own terms apply to your Google or Facebook account.
  • You can stop using GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you at any time. To have your account deleted, write to [email protected].

7. What you must not do

You must not use GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you to:

  • give false information, or pretend to be someone else;
  • send spam, or harass, threaten or deceive a dealer or anyone else;
  • sell or advertise cars or other goods (dealers use the dealer area under the Dealer agreement);
  • copy the request board, or collect information from it with a program;
  • get around our security, limits or checks, or interfere with how the site works;
  • do anything against the law of Japan or of the country you are in.

8. Reports

If something goes wrong with a dealer, or a message looks like a scam, please report it. We read every report and can remove a dealer from GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you. We cannot settle a dispute between you and a dealer, and we cannot get your money back: if you have lost money, contact the police and your bank as well.

9. Stopping or suspending an account

We may suspend or close an account, or remove requests, if the account breaks these terms, if we receive credible reports about it, or if the law requires it. Where it is fair and safe to do so, we tell you why.

10. Our content

The text, design, logo and software of GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you belong to GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you or the people who licensed them to us. You may use the site for its purpose, but not copy or reuse them for another purpose without our written permission.

11. The service itself

We work to keep GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you online and secure, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, that every request will receive an answer, or that a dealer will have the car you want. We may change, pause or end any part of the service.

12. Liability

What we are and are not responsible for, including after an accident, is set out in the Disclaimer (sections 3, 4 and 7). Nothing in these terms limits our liability where Japanese law, including the Consumer Contract Act, does not allow it to be limited.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the service changes or the law requires it. We publish the new version on this page, with its date, before it applies. If you have an account, we ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. A request you have already sent stays under the version you accepted when you sent it.

14. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Japan that have jurisdiction under Japanese law. Nothing here takes away rights that the law of your own country gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.
