GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you helps people find a used car in Japan, whether they live in Japan or abroad. You tell us the car you want. Car dealers in Japan that we have checked see your request and write to you with their offers.
How it works for buyers
- Send a request: the make, the model or type of car, the years and your budget.
- Dealers we have checked read it, without your name or contact details, and write to you.
- Their message reaches you with their contact details. You decide whether to answer, then talk to the dealer directly.
Sending requests and receiving messages is free for buyers.
Every dealer is checked
Before a dealer can write to a buyer, we check the company's registration with Japan's National Tax Agency, its secondhand dealer licence, its registered address and that it has a bank account in the company name, and we hold a video call with a named manager.
What we do not do
GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you does not sell cars and is not a party to any sale. We do not take payment for a car, inspect, ship or register cars. The dealer who sells you a car is the seller. Pay only into a bank account in the dealer's company name, never to a person and never to GenkiCars - Let the car dealer contact you.
If something does not look right, report it: we review every report and can remove a dealer.
